Our Values

Embody the Lotus

I believe that regardless of what life throws at us, like a lotus flower, we as humans, can rise from the dirt, bloom out of the darkness, and radiate into the world.

“As the lotus rises on its stalk unsoiled by the mud and water so the wise one speaks of peace and is unstained by the opinions of the world”. Budda

The Lotus Flower represents growth, strength, self-awareness, patience and rising out of suffering.

Anchor down

Life is full of ups and downs and there constantly comes a time when we all must weather the storms. As we face adversities and challenges on our journeys, it is important to stay intentional with finding moments of peace.

At Vyema, the anchor represents hope, strength, stability, and security. It is essential that through life’s challenges, we make time for rest and grounding in order to reset and continue on.

Connection

Connection is a basic human need that helps us feel responsible for ourselves and others. We are able to hold space for other humans in a non-judgemental way, with unconditional positive regard as we present as our most authentic selves.

Connection is grounded in a humanistic approach and emphasizes the need that we, as humans, must be seen, heard, and valued, regardless of our racial identity, sexual orientation, or religious/cultural beliefs
